‘Adage’ is a ballet term which refers to a slow and graceful sequence of movements, in this film Jack seeks to juxtapose this with disorientating abstraction caused by process and editing.
Jack utilises risograph, mono-print, shadow projection and manual point tracking to create varying levels of abstraction, in turn playing with our associated perception of movement.
